Compound resin, on the other hand, is a pre-mixed material that contains the base polymer combined with other ingredients such as fillers, reinforcements, or additives.

The main difference is that compound resins are typically more complex, with the additives fully integrated into the base resin, making them ready for molding or extrusion. 

These resins offer enhanced mechanical properties, heat resistance, or other specialized characteristics and are used in more demanding applications.
